Activstars Instructor

An admirer of the ingenuity and determination of Iron Man, Sensei Alex infuses his classes with a touch of genius and ambition. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant world of Orange, he injects creativity and energy into his teachings. One of his most amusing experiences was tripping and falling during an awards night, reminding him to embrace lightheartedness and resilience.

PROFILE/BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE: I have been with ActivStars since 2008. I started as a student and have worked hard to work my way up to be an instructor. I have had the pleasure of working with several different instructors on my journey to my black belt. I first started wanting to teach when I became a purple belt and was allowed to Sempai in the beginning classes. But as the years went on, I was given the chance to hone my teaching ability and strive to make the people I teach even better than myself.

I was a student of the graduating class of 2017 at Raymore-Peculiar high school. I am attending college for criminal justice and hope to become a K9 officer. Karate helped me with many issues I had growing up and I hope I will be able to make a difference in as many people’s lives as possible.
