Tim Manning

Mr. Manning has been leading the Cave Creek ACTIVSTARS program for more than 20 years in the Cave Creek school district and currently holds the rank of 5th Dan Black Belt in WTF Taekwondo. As senior instructor, Mr. Manning teaches a comprehensive curriculum consisting of forms, sparring and self-defense with the help of skilled black belt instructors trained within his system.

The Taekwondo style Mr. Manning teaches is internationally recognized by the World Taekwondo Federation, headquartered in Korea. The sparring component is recognized as an official Olympic sport and the forms (poomsae) standardized globally.

A father of four children, Mr. Manning has a passion for making a difference with children through martial arts and administers the program together with his wife, Dianne, and capable parent helpers.  Mr. Manning is committed to giving young men and women important life skills, which include respect, courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and indomitable spirit.
